There is a work party on the morning of the 22nd January at Archy. This will involve the moving of stone onto the new trail Shaun has been working on below the main car park. We will need a bit of muscle...so if you can come and help please do, we will definetly need you, barrows and spades. This new section is going to be a great link up and should prove popular, but without volunteers we will not get it done. Look foreward to seeing you there.

Next Social Ride is planned for Thursday 29th December
Venue: St.Johns ( Farmers Arms car park)
Time: 6:30-7:00pm Start
Route: Railway Line, 7 Gates track (Kennaa), Ballamona track to Lhoobs road, track down to Hamilton Close, Railway Line to bottom of Slieau Whallian, Slieau Whallian, Barnell, Knockaloe, Peel Hill then back along Railway Line to St.Johns.
This route might change due to weather etc.
Let Coops (481793) know if you're up for the ride.

Boxing Day Ride was a great spin out with Foxdale, Cam, Pete, Skippy, Coops and Gadge with some new tracks being ridden, well new to the masses anyway; thanks to Foxdale for leading us out. Blog will follow shortly.

We have received the following message from a photographer who was out for the End2End;
I was out taking photos at this year's End2End Mountain Bike Challenge.
Due to the number of photos taken (Over 1,500) web space would be heck of a lot this year – so I've tagged each photo with a race number on the office PC.
So if any of your club riders would like to send me their race numbers – if I have snapped them I will e-mail back a watermarked photo to view and if they like I will send a PayPal link to purchase the full res image that will be e-mailed same day.

We have decided to close this trail until the E2E Challenge due to accelerated erosion caused by the recent wet weather and increased use prior to the event. This decision has the support of the E2E organising committee.

Well Done to everyone who took part in the Peel Viking Longboat World Championships today. The boys did us proud with a top 10 finish (8th overall) in the mens category with a time of 2mins 49.47secs.

We have just received our confirmation and practice times for the Viking Longboat Races. Times and further details can be found by downloading the PDF HERE. Those people that have put their names forward for this are; Darren Quirk, Tim Shearman, Andy Simpson, Gary Cooper, Cameron Crabtree, Simon Cooper, Mark McCafferty, Karl Millar, Chris Watson, Steve Kennaugh & Will Nulty.
